Is it when two people say that they are dating? Do you have to see each other on a regular basis? What constitutes dating? I often wonder this. There are many people who are dating that have never talked with their partner about whether or not they are dating. There are people who see each other every day that do not consider themselves dating. I am dating someone. We have had the discussion that we are dating. On the flip side we do not see each other. He is working in Atlanta right now. I have not seen the guy that I am dating for 4 months, yet we still consider ourselves to be dating.

Many people think that they know the right way to flirt. These are the people who are hyper, way too talkactive, and in general annoying. You do not want to be this person. As a person that is dating, you need to have your flirting skills honed to a fine art. They should be subtle and intriguing.

You need to use your best smile when flirting with someone. This will give the person the impression that you are having fun. Make eye contact with the person that you are flirting with often. Do not stare at them like you are a stalker. Look at the person often enough so that they know that you are interested.

I have been guilty of this relationship mistake many times in the past. The mistake is that I lose myself when I am in a relationship. I morph into what I think I need to be to date the person that I am with. By doing this, I have often lost integral parts of personality and self. Usually I figure this out a couple months after I have broken up with the person that I am dating.

As a single parent, we can not do this. Actually, this is not something that anyone who is dating should do. Your children depend on you to be who you are. Changing for someone who may be temporary in your life can be bad for your children. Keep this in mind when you start to change for the person that you are dating.

One topic that many single parents decide to include is information about their children. This is fine to do on an online dating profile in moderation. You do not want your 200 words about yourself to go on and on about your children. If you want to mention that you are a single parent that is fine. You should focus the paragraph on you and who you are. Your children do not define you as a person. They are a big part of your life, but not the only part.

I never liked the idea of playing anything with the person that you are dating. I am a single parent and do not have time for these childish type games. Or at least that was what I thought. I have been calling my boyfriend in Atlanta everyday on the way home from work to chat for about 40 minutes. Well actually I text to see if he is available and then call.
