Dating With Kids

As you progress in your dating relationships, this is a question that will come up. There is no one correct answer to this question. There are single parents that believe that they should bring their children on most of their dates. This is after they have chosen to introduce their children to the person that they are dating. The other group of single parents look at dates as adult only times.

I have chosen to do a little of both in my dating life with my daughter. Before my boyfriend had to go to Atlanta to work, I would have some adult dates and some child dates. My boyfriend and I would have one night a week where we went out together and just did something that was more adult. On the weekends when he had his son as well, is the times that we would include the children on our dates. I found that this combination of dates worked the best for me.
