Dating With Kids

I have often wondered why the differences in the sexes are so varied when it comes to saying, I love you. Those three little words will often cross the lips of two people who are dating, as easily as they say hi or bye. It is the smaller more meaningful ways of saying I love you that have me wondering.

My boyfriend does not see the little ways of saying I love you like I do. It has taken me a long time to try and get comfortable with this. To be truthful, there are still times when I get annoyed at what I think is his indifference. I enjoy the small little acts of love. A simple flower, a note from my boyfriend who is so far away are some of the things that I like. These do not usually happen, at least in my dating life. This does not mean that my boyfriend does not love me. It just means he shows his love in other ways.
