Dating With Kids

I went to the bar this past weekend and had a weird experience. As you know my boyfriend is in Atlanta, so I went to the bar with my sister to see my friends’ band play. I have not been going out a lot since my boyfriend went away. I just didn’t feel like it, so I devoted all of my free time to my daughter. I realize that I need to go out more often to recharge my battery.

I was hit on by a guy at the bar. He was nice and I let him know that I was not interested. Having a guy pay attention to me did feel nice. I even got a free beer out of the deal. Isn’t it amazing what the smallest act can do for your confidence?
