Dating With Kids

I was having a conversation with a good friend of mine the other day. We started talking about my dating life and my boyfriend. I told my friend how much I loved boyfriend. Then the buts started to come in to the conversation. The first is that he is in Atlanta. The second is that my boyfriend is trying to sort some things out mentally and emotionally in his life. The third is that to deal with being so far away, that he has become cold and distant, something he learned while he was in the military. Finally, my friend asked me why I was still with this guy? The only answer that I could say was that I was waiting for him to center himself and find the road that he wanted to travel. I wait hoping that road includes me.
