Is it Ok to Pick Someone Up When You are Out with Your Children

Published by geargirl113 under Basics Edit This

The saying goes that you never know when you run across the perfect person for you. It is often when you least expect to meet someone to date that it happens. Well what happens when this perfect person to date crosses your path when you are out with your children? Would you make the first move, even though your children are around?

Since I met my current boyfriend at a bar, I have never had to deal with this. I was asked this question the other day by another single parent and decided the topic should be explored. I believe that single parent needs to make this decision for themselves. My choice if I had to make it would be not to let opportunity slip by, but not to truly flirt with the person. I would talk to this person that got my interest. Ask to exchange numbers or meet up at a later time, when the children were not around to get to know them better.
