Dating With Kids

Ok, I did it. I feel in love with the nice guy. You would think that my life is now roses because I am dating this great really nice guy. This is true and it is not true. The problem with the nice guy is that he wants to be nice to everyone at all times. This leads to him trying to make everyone happy. When he does this he usually ends up with no one being happy. This includes me. So, I have had to find ways to deal with this.

First, I realized that he is going to want to help everyone that he knows that is in need. He will give the shirt off his back. This is aggravating when I am looking to build a future with him. I keep in mind that he is that helpful with me and my daughter.

Second, he will take last minute invites with his guy friends. Now my boyfriend at least brings me along. It is his way of trying to make everyone happy. I do not like this intrusion on our special time. I try to let it slide as long as it is not an everyday occurrence.
