Dating With Kids

This is something that I have always wondered. I have never been a fan of long distance relationships. So needless to say, I never thought that one would work in the long term. It is with this knowledge that I find myself on uncomfortable ground. I am in a long distance relationship. Originally, we thought that my boyfriend would be gone for only 4 to 6 months. Now, it looks like we have no coming home date for anytime in the near future. It is with this knowledge that I decided to try to maintain a long term long distance relationship. I am not sure if this is really possible. I have always seen them work in the movies, but we do not live in the movies.
