Dating With Kids

Today all is well in my dating life. Ok, yes my boyfriend is still in Atlanta. Nothing is perfect. I am content with what I have and am enjoying every moment of it. I always seem to focus on what I do not have that I often miss the joys of what I do have. I need to make sure that I do not do this. Looking at where I would like to go in my life is important when it comes to making goals and taking the steps to get there. However, if this is all I do, I will always be waiting for life and not living it.

I enjoyed just texting my boyfriend during the Phillies’ playoff game last night. We complained about the announcers. We cheered when the team did well. It was fun. I missed being able to just have fun. I have been so focused on improving my relationship that I missed just enjoying it.
