Dating With Kids

I went out last night for a much needed relaxer. I have not been going out as much since my boyfriend has gone away. I spend my nights taking care of my daughter and then working on my freelance writing. I decided that I needed a change. Man, was I right.

I headed out to a local bar that I have been hanging at for about 5 years. The Phillies came was on the screen. I went to the bar said hi to my friend behind it and grabbed a beer to relax and watch the game. As the night wore on some other friends came in for the band that would be playing after the game. I had a fun time without a boyfriend at my side.

I joked with my friends about the fact that my boyfriend is all the way in Atlanta. I enjoy some wings and beer. And yes, I still made it to work this morning.
