Dating With Kids

I have written many times about my boyfriend who is currently working in Atlanta. Well, I received an email from him last night breaking up with me. Or at least that is how I read the email. He has started seeing a shrink in Atlanta. He has talked about doing this many times. He has things in his past that he is still trying to work on. The therapist told him that he is not mentally able to be in a relationship. He says that he was told that he does not know how to love. His therapist says that we should break up and remain friends.

I am so glad the therapist decided that we needed to break up. I think that my ex boyfriend is making the biggest mistake of his life. I told him that I was happy that he finally found the road that may or may not lead to his happiness.

For me it is time to do some self searching and evaluating. I had been dating him for a year and 4 months. It will be a big change being single again. Well, I guess I will have much more to write about when it comes to dating now.
