Many people are afraid to take that first step out onto the dating hire wire. Yes, I said it. Dating is like walking the circus high wire. You never know when a strong gust of wind may throw off the balance that you have. This is very scary for many people to think about.

There is always the very real possibility of getting hurt when it comes to relationships and to walking a high wire. It is for this reason that many people choose to do this with a safety net.

They try to protect themselves in advance of any major fall. This is a cushion so to speak to make it hurt less. Having a safety net when it comes to dating is not going to get you where you want to go.

Your safety net is going to hold you back from opening up and giving our all to your relationship. If you do not open up to the person that you are dating, you will never be able to be more then good friends. Every so often, you need to take that leap of faith with out the safety net.
