There is a trend growing when it comes to dating. The use of text messaging to talk to the person that you are dating is on the rise. Many people use this as the number one way that they communicate with the person that they are dating. This is a very cold and distant way to have a relationship go.

I am not saying that you should play games with the man in your life. I believe in being truly honest and upfront with the person that you are dating. That being said, I have noticed a few truths about men when it comes to dating.

When I was overly attentive to my boyfriend, he would not care if he talked to me or not. To be truthful, other things that were going on in his life distracted him. Since I was always there, he was not worried about me going anywhere. Then, it all began to change.

As the time became longer that he was in Atlanta, I started to focus more on my own life. I still loved him and wanted to include him, I just did not make the effort to talk to him a couple of times a day. I even skipped a day of sending him a message because I got wrapped up in something that I was doing. All of a sudden my casual boyfriend was texting me to see what was going on. He started realizing that he needed to make an effort to keep me as part of his life. Some may say this is playing a game. What do you think?

I am still asking my boyfriend for his opinion of what I should do for my daughter’s birthday. If he were here, I would invite him and his son to the event. I believe that to truly date someone and build a relationship with them, you need to include them in your life.

I have been battling a stomach virus since Friday. At first I thought it might have been my body paying me back for going out drinking Thursday night. Unfortunately, I have still been sick the last two days. That is not a hangover.

I was taking boxes down to the basement yesterday and my ankle buckled. I fell down the stairs going to our basement. I scraped up my elbow. I am sore along my entire left side. This was just not my weekend.

I have run into more and more people cheating these days. Some of these people are ones that I would never think of doing this. As I have seen this epidemic of cheating grow, it has made me ask some questions. The first one that comes to mind is why do people cheat?

There are those people who are no longer in love with the person they are with. It is this lack of love that causes them to look for someone to love.

Some cheat because they are bored. This does not mean that they do not love their partner. They are looking for excitement in their life.

Then there are the other people that I truly believe have no idea why they are cheating. No matter which way you slice it, cheating is not the way to go.
